Recipe - Easy Delicious Apple Sauce

Ingredients

• 8-10 Large cooking apples, peeled, cored, and cut into chunks
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 3/4 cup sugar
• * Will require slow cooker

Directions

Peel, core, and cut 8-10 apples into chunks. Put the cut apple chunks into a mixing bowl, then add 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 3/4 cup sugar. Toss or stir ingredients within the bowl to maximize flavor. Put the tossed apple chunks with the cinnamon and sugar into a slow cooker. Add 1/2 cup water. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.

After cooking for 2 hours, remove slow cooker lid. Mash cooked apple chunks with potato masher while in slow cooker. Reduce to low heat. Cook for an additional hour.

Remove apples from slow cooker to cool to desired temperature. Serve and enjoy.
